2023 FEDERAL CAPITAL BUDGET PULL OUT IN AGRICULTURE: PROJECTS OF INTEREST TO SMALL SCALE WOMEN FARMERS

Centre for Social Justice (CSJ) presents this pull-out to SWOFON to facilitate the monitoring and reporting on projects of interest to SWOFON members. In the spirit of the vision of the Centre for Social Justice, of a Nigeria where social justice informs public decision making and guarantees respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms for all, we present the 2023 Federal Agriculture Capital Budget Pullout of projects of interest to SWOFON. The Declaration on the Right to Development states that the human person is the central subject of development and should be an active participant and beneficiary of the right to development. As such, Nigerians have individual and collective responsibilities to follow the money and track developments in the implementation of capital votes meant for their benefit. It is a duty we cannot afford to evade. This Pullout presents an opportunity for action; to follow the money, ask questions about project implementation; contact our representatives in the National Assembly; ask questions from Ministry officials and contractors about projects located in your vicinity that seek to improve your welfare, etc.
